Bad Lip Reading (abbreviated as BLR ) is a YouTube – channel, by an anonymous individual run [1] in the music production company, the clips from movies, TV – shows, music, sports and political news spoofs by overdubs humorous vocal work that fits Lip movements of the targets. Rolling Stonedescribed the channel as “Breakout – Hit” of the 2012 United States presidential cycle. [1] As of March 2016 had the Bad Lip Reading YouTube – channel collected more than 5 million subscribers and over 619 million views of its videos. The identity of the Creator is not known.


The “Bad Lip Reader” behind the channel is an anonymous music and video producer of Texas. [3] The first Bad Lip Reading was published video a parody of Rebecca Black’s song “Friday”, entitled “Gang Fight”. New music and the lyrics were matched Blacks video to make it appear as though they were singing giant war. The “Gangfight” YouTube video, released in March 2011, earned BLR a million hits and thousands of subscribers. [1]

In September 2011 branched BLR of pop singers from the politicians with a “bad lip read” by Texas governor and US presidential candidate Rick Perry. The channel found even more success in November 2012 when it became popular with film and television shows overdubs. BLR version of Twilightwas fast viral, followed by parodies of The Hunger Games , The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones . The videos were well received, not only by the public, but also by the cast and creator of the features spoofing features.
